Drilling simulator worth over 1 million USD is presented to Kazakhstan PM

Kazakhstan PM Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited techno park Alatau in Almaty region. Drilling simulator was presented to the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, BNews.kz correspondent reports.

Training room located in the Naval Academy of KBTU is the simulator and recreates the same situation as in reality. It costs 1,200,000 USD. According to instructor training course within seven days will cost 300, 000 tenge.

In the past to pass training on such simulator, specialist had to travel abroad, and to pay for training, travel and visa.  And learning can pass as students of KBTU and specialists from the oil companies,” instructor of drilling simulator Kanat Suleimen said.

Then PM viewed the projects such as Onai, QAZAQ Smart System, equipment "panic button", "clever stops", EcoStation and other innovative projects.

Meanwhile, PM noted one mistake in spelling of word onai. The mayor of Almaty also agreed with this comment and said that transport legislation needs amendments.

"We have no right to different tariffs. That is, if we increase or reduce tariffs, we will subsidize concessional carriers. The differential fare is necessary. One-time fare should be more expensive, "Almaty mayor said.
